The Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration has released the "KOP Region Socio-Economic Indicators Report 2025," a comprehensive study highlighting the economic, social, and sectoral development of the region through data-driven insights. Prepared annually, the report serves as a vital reference for decision-makers, researchers, and the public by analyzing the current state of the KOP Region.
The KOP Regional Development Administration continues to contribute to regional development through its initiatives in the provinces of Aksaray, Karaman, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Konya, Nevşehir, Niğde, and Yozgat. The report offers a holistic view of the region’s socio-economic landscape, consolidating up-to-date data across various fields, including demographics, agriculture, industry, energy, education, and tourism.
Compiled by the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordination Unit of the KOP Administration in accordance with national and international standards, the report has been published by KOP Publications with an ISBN, securing its place in the literature as a permanent reference for academic and institutional studies.

Evaluating the publication, the President of the KOP Regional Development Administration, Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu, emphasized that the KOP Region holds a strategic position in terms of Türkiye's production capacity and development goals.
In his statement, Dr. Karakoyunlu noted:
"The Konya Plain Project Region plays a pivotal role in our country's development targets with its vast agricultural lands, robust production infrastructure, and growing industrial potential. Highlighting that the KOP Region is critical for Türkiye’s food security, energy transition, and balanced regional development goals, Dr. Karakoyunlu stated that the report would also contribute to shaping regional development policies.
"This study, which evaluates the socio-economic structure of the region from a holistic perspective, will provide significant contributions to the decision-making processes of our public institutions, local governments, and investors," Dr. Karakoyunlu added.
