Nevşehir province ranks first in Turkey in the production of pumpkin seeds for snacking. The project aims to prevent producers from being subjected to prices determined by merchants and to enable them to process and sort their products through their local chamber of agriculture, thereby selling them at their true value. Within this scope, a product processing facility with a capacity of 5 tons per hour has been established.

Through Training and Extension Activities aimed at field crop breeding and ensuring the efficient and sustainable use of soil and water resources in crop production, the first fully controlled breeding greenhouse in Konya province has been established at Selçuk University to strengthen educational infrastructure. The greenhouse is designed to create suitable conditions unaffected by seasonal variations, enabling multiple breeding cycles within a single year to shorten the breeding process. Additionally, the project aims to increase university students' interest in plant breeding and demonstrate modern breeding practices, agricultural techniques, and technologies.

Through this project, the primary aim is to meet the seedling needs for vegetables, flowers, etc., first in Meram District and subsequently in Konya and surrounding provinces, thereby activating local potential. It also seeks to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources locally, enhance the competitiveness of producers, and promote the economic and social integration of vegetable-growing farmers. Within the scope of the project, a 3,000 m² seedling production greenhouse has been established for seedling cultivation.

The greenhouse projects aim to achieve high yield per unit area, enable value-added production on small and fragmented lands, allow early and late-season production, reduce the carbon footprint, and promote the concept of local production for local consumption.

Through this project, the aim is to ensure the effective production, processing, and marketing of a local bean variety cultivated by farmers, processed by farmer organizations, and marketed by these same organizations.

The project aimed to serve as a guide for investors planning to invest in the information technology sector, to raise awareness, to meet pre-investment feasibility needs, and to present a conceptual model of a data centers zone that could attract international investors as well.
