The cooperative is one of the rare enterprises that successfully managed production in a shared barn using this program. Despite being unable to produce for seven months in 2014 due to rabies, the cooperative currently manages 430 head of cattle and 170 breeding animals. The daily milk yield is approximately 3 tons, which is delivered to Akgıda Milk Factory.
Since the barn lacked necessary modernization, milk and meat productivity were gradually decreasing. This project aims to modernize the barn by establishing the required mechanization infrastructure.
Within the scope of the project, the following equipment has been acquired for the cooperative’s shared barn:
-
1 herd management system
-
240 pedometers
-
1 feed mixer
-
10 automatic scratching brushes
-
8 drinking troughs
-
220 animal beds
