In areas within our region where livestock activities and mobility are intensive, the project aims to support investment initiatives for the establishment, rehabilitation, and licensing of modern animal markets/exchanges, animal parks and fairs, and slaughterhouse facilities. This is intended to enhance animal health and disease control, as well as to develop the trade of animals, meat, and dairy products.

Through this project, the primary aim is to meet the seedling needs for vegetables, flowers, etc., first in Meram District and subsequently in Konya and surrounding provinces, thereby activating local potential. It also seeks to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources locally, enhance the competitiveness of producers, and promote the economic and social integration of vegetable-growing farmers. Within the scope of the project, a 3,000 m² seedling production greenhouse has been established for seedling cultivation.

Through this project, the objectives are to enable beekeepers to produce their own queen bees to obtain higher quality and quantity of products, to contribute to their income by cultivating alternative bee products such as royal jelly, pollen, and propolis alongside honey, and to strengthen the organizational structure so that they can have a say in the market regarding the cultivation and marketing of bee products.
