Development Drive in Karaman

With the participation of our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, the Opening Ceremony and Protocol Signing for the Regional Development Administration – Development Agency Projects and the Karaman Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) Wastewater Treatment Plant was held in Karaman.

In line with the priorities set out in the 2024–2028 KOP Action Plan, investments that strengthen water management, agricultural productivity, and industrial infrastructure are being implemented in Karaman in accordance with our regional development objectives.

The projects launched in 2025:

📌 Central District İslihisar Village Phase I Groundwater (YAS) Irrigation Project,

📌 Central District Kameni (Boyalıtepe) Village Groundwater (YAS) Closed Irrigation System Project, and

📌 Karaman Apple Sorting Facility Completion Project,

are among the strategic initiatives that will make critical contributions to achieving the goals of the KOP Action Plan.

As the KOP Regional Development Administration, we will continue to contribute decisively to Karaman’s development journey through projects that prioritize production, employment, and environmental sustainability.
