Konya Agriculture Fair Opens: KOP-Supported Innovative Machinery Draws Great Interest

One of Türkiye’s most significant agricultural events, the Konya Agriculture Fair, has opened its doors with extensive participation from both domestic and international visitors.

Following the opening ceremony, the delegation visited the stand featuring the locally developed and innovative machinery produced under the "New Generation Self-Propelled Spraying and Fertilizing Machine Project," supported by the KOP Regional Development Administration.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ebubekir Gizligider, and the Deputy Minister of Trade, Mahmut Gürcan, along with their accompanying delegation, received a detailed briefing on the project—implemented in Konya’s Altınekin district—from our President, Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu.

Developed with the strategic support of KOP, this innovative machinery features a variable-rate spraying and fertilization system. This advanced technology not only significantly reduces operational costs for farmers but also makes a vital contribution to environmental sustainability through optimized resource management.
