Due to its location at the foothills of the Sultan Mountains, residents of the Akşehir District strive to sustain their livelihoods through very small-scale agricultural and livestock operations. The limited arable land and pastures available for livestock in these forest villages place them at a significant disadvantage in terms of agriculture, which forms the backbone of rural livelihoods.

The project aims to create alternative sources of income in these regions to help prevent migration, make the most of limited space by cultivating profitable agricultural products such as raspberries and blackberries, improve the quality of life for producers, and enable women to contribute to the family budget as productive stakeholders.
