The project aims to preserve the production culture of Divle Obruk Cheese, a geographically indicated cheese produced in Divle Village, Ayrancı District, which is also a cultural heritage. The objectives are to carry out production under healthier conditions, process the cheese locally, and market it through the cooperative.

Within the scope of the project, as part of the training and extension activities aimed at generating income, with the objectives of instilling social awareness in women who are engaged in economic activity within the family and are categorized as unpaid family workers through the trainings provided, ensuring their participation in the cooperative, and providing them with a profession to sustain their own lives, trees are processed to make walking sticks, and stonework with local motifs is applied onto the walking sticks.

Gemstone Processing Project

A sorting, grading, roasting, and packaging facility has been established to add value to pulses widely cultivated in the region, particularly pumpkin seeds. The project aims to shield farmers from price fluctuations and increase their income by enabling them to sell packaged products.

The most important source of income in Çekerek district is agriculture and livestock farming. There is no small or large-scale industry in the district. Due to its location, the district is situated in a rural area.

In the region, which historically had a viticulture culture, vineyards were abandoned due to diseases that emerged because the old-type rootstocks were ungrafted.
