The project aims to establish a practical application area within a glass greenhouse located in the garden of the Konya Science Center to familiarize children with the concept and help them appreciate its importance. Within the scope of the project, a glass greenhouse featuring social and practical application areas has been installed.

The Çumra Irrigation System in the Konya Plain, with a net irrigated area of 59,560 hectares, was largely constructed as an earth canal by the Ottoman Empire between 1907 and 1913 and commissioned on 31 December 1913. Due to the inherent nature of these canals, water loss and leakage rates have been quite high, and in addition, because of the geological structure of the land, sinkholes and collapses (known as obruk and düden) have increasingly caused additional water losses over the years.

On a 300-decare pasture area, the planting of 33,333 four-wing saltbush plants and the installation of an electric fence have been provided. With the pasture rehabilitation, an increase in profitability in small ruminant livestock farming is foreseen.
