The project locations are the districts of Sorgun, Sarıkaya, Saraykent, and Akdağmadeni in Yozgat province. Planned to be initiated on a pilot basis, the project aims to reduce the high rate of calf mortality experienced in cattle farming, minimize diarrhea-related calf deaths, and contribute to the national economy.

The most important source of income in Çekerek district is agriculture and livestock farming. There is no small or large-scale industry in the district. Due to its location, the district is situated in a rural area.

In the Boğazlıyan district, the vaccination technique for small ruminants is carried out according to old methods. Additionally, due to the large herd sizes, there are animals that cannot be vaccinated.

In order to establish infrastructure for the local marketing of fresh fruits and vegetables produced in the districts of Ermenek, Başyayla, and Sarıveliler, a fruit and vegetable collection complex has been completed at a location equidistant from the three districts. This complex is especially aimed at marketing cherries and apples at their true local value through a wholesale market system.

Within the scope of the project, as part of the training and extension activities aimed at generating income, with the objectives of instilling social awareness in women who are engaged in economic activity within the family and are categorized as unpaid family workers through the trainings provided, ensuring their participation in the cooperative, and providing them with a profession to sustain their own lives, trees are processed to make walking sticks, and stonework with local motifs is applied onto the walking sticks.

This project aims to maximize the utilization of geothermal energy resources and fully exploit the associated potential by contributing to the development of innovative and hybrid applications for geothermal energy.
