Through the portable sheepfold projects; the objectives are to improve shelter conditions and thereby enhance animal welfare, to prevent losses in livestock productivity, to produce healthy and high-quality animal products, to prevent the establishment of permanent shelters in pastures, to clear irregular structures within pastures, and to develop alternative methods that will facilitate the reclamation of pasturelands.

Planned to be initiated on a pilot basis, the project aims to reduce the high rate of calf mortality experienced in cattle farming, minimize diarrhea-related calf deaths, and contribute to the national economy.
