Among the agricultural products produced in Aksaray, the most widely cultivated and preferred for snacks are sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. With the integrated seed facility established through this project, the products are collected directly from farmers with minimal handling. Inside the facility, the products are dried at the correct temperature in a drying machine, ensuring that their color and quality remain unchanged. This allows the processing, which would normally take weeks, to be completed in the shortest possible time. Farmers are able to sell their products shortly after harvest, increasing the market value of their produce.

Through the greenhouse projects, the objectives are to achieve high yield per unit area, to conduct value-added production on small and fragmented lands, to enable production in the early and late seasons, to reduce the carbon footprint, and to promote the widespread adoption of the concept of local production and local consumption.

The aim of the projects is to develop beekeeping, which has significant potential in the region, to increase the income levels of producers and create employment, to provide producers with beekeeping materials that allow them to engage in organic beekeeping economically, to diversify the products produced in organic beekeeping, to increase producers’ incomes, and to improve their marketing capabilities.

The most important source of income in Çekerek district is agriculture and livestock farming. There is no small or large-scale industry in the district. Due to its location, the district is situated in a rural area.

The project aims to revitalize idle land by establishing walnut and almond orchards, thereby integrating these crops into the economy and simultaneously increasing farmers' income. Under the project, 30 producers each received 10 decares of land for the establishment of almond and walnut orchards.

Due to the majority of agricultural lands being arid and the low annual precipitation level, approximately 40% of cultivated agricultural areas are dedicated to the production of pulses such as chickpeas, lentils, and beans.
